“Under Pressure” at The Pump House

“Under Pressure” is a three artist show by the members of Brown Dog Studio, Marianne Stanke, Marcia Thompson and Lynn Burgess.  The title of the exhibit refers to the presure of the printing press as well as other less obvious pressures.  It includes a variety of techniques including collographs, dry point etchings, monotypes, and woodcuts.  The studio is devoted to working with earth friendly non-toxic materilas.  The show runs from Thursday February 19th thru Saturday March 28th.  An artist’s reception will be held this Friday February 20th from 5 to 7pm.  There will also be a Gallery Talk for those interested in learning more about printmaking.
