The Spotlight May 22, 2009

This week meet Phyllis Martino.  She has been doing watercolor paintings of La Crosse and the 7-Rivers Region for 30 years.  In La Crosse her artwork can be seen at State Street Gallery, Art 211 on Pearl Street, and at her home studio Martino Studios, which she shares with her husband Michael.  Michael is a sculptor and was in “The Spotlight” on May 8th.

On her personal website you can view many paintings from categories that include, “Original Watercolors, “La Crosse, Wisconsin and Region”, and paintings “Along the Mississippi.  Phyllis also participates at Riverfest here in La Crosse, Art Fair On The Green, and the Driftless Area Art Festival in Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin.  Stay tuned to Coulee Region Art for more information on these events.
