One of my goals in writing this blog was to spotlight local artists, working in different mediums, from around the Coulee Region. I’m still working on that goal but am getting closer to publishing a mini slide show containing works from about a dozen local artists. I would like to post a mini slide show once a week spotlightling 10 to 12 artists but getting this started is going much slower than I had expected. If anybody out there is interested please contact me at jguin@wkbt.com. Just email me a brief biography of yourself along with a photo of one piece of your art work. If you have a blog site or a web page I’ll also post a permanent link to your site. Mini Slide Shows
This slide show is just a small group of some of my favorite pots and not neccessarily posted in order favorite first. I have been lucky enough not to have any broken pots during my barrel firings and have been happy with every pot. It is very difficult to have a favorite because I love them all. Unfortunately everybody else loves them too because they have all been sold, or given away as presents, and now I don’t have one for myself. Anyway, enjoy the show and stay tuned. I hope to have a new slide show posted within the next week.
