Figure Drawing at the Pump House

The Pump House will be offering two figure drawing classes to be led by local artist Matt Ducket.  Section one will be held on Wednesday February 18th, 25th and again on Wednesday March 4th and March 11th.  Time is 2:00pm to 3:30pm.  Section two runs Thursday February 18th and 26th and March 5th and 12th.  Time is 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

Learn how to accurately draw the human figure using a live model.  Students will learn various techniques including gesture and contour drawing, and then apply these to advanced lessons in rendering and proportion.  Students will study and understand the movements and mechanics of the human body in order to record the human figure authentically.  The workshop will focus on drawing the figure and face.  Cost for the worksop is $85.00 for members, $95.00 for non members.
