I stopped in at the Cabin Fever Art Show and Sale last Saturday. It was quite an exhibit. I met and chatted with many artists and saw a lot of great art. There was a wide range of art including painting, pottery, photograpghy, stained glass, jewelry, quilts and more. Anyway, I took a few photos to post on the blog. I wish I had taken more but here are a few.
I had never been to the UW-L Cleary Alumni and Friends Center. It was much larger than I thought and the abundance of natural light was great for an art exhibit.
Here is a picture of Cheri Haug working away during the show. She was featured in the very first “Spotlight” post. If I’m not mistaken, I believe the gentleman behind her is Gary Wiste. He does photography, graphic design, and advertising for the motorsports community.
Another previously “spotlighted” artist is Cheryl Keefee. Here she is with her whimsical three-dimensional art dolls.
