Amazing Murals

I know that there are a lot of painters that might know of John Pugh but for anybody that hasn’t heard of him or seen his work, check out this link for amazing murals by John Pugh.  All his work is cool but I really liked his Woman in Cafe because I immediately said to myself “Manet!,” A Bar at the Folies - Bergeres,  (one of my favorites).  I bet there are several people who have bumped into his work in the dark hours.

 These murals made me think of the sidewalk art of Julian Beever. I posted a link to his work several months ago but his work goes hand in hand with Pugh’s.  I love the way he places himself in the photos of his work. Click on this link to view the pavement drawings by Julian Beever.
