A Season of Art

Last week I posted a note about “First Saturday Art Fairs,” an outdoor art fair on the first Saturday of each month sponsored by the La Crosse Society of Arts & Crafts. Apparently in the past it had gone by two names, “First Saturday Art Fairs” and ”A Season of Art.” This year to eliminate any confusion their planning committee decided to use only one name this year–”A Season of Art.” Local area artists will be displaying their work on June 6th, July 4th, August 1st, and September 5th. The event is the ultimate in relaxed shopping with music to enjoy and refreshments. You can find quality pieces of all varieties from different mediums and discover and meet different artists at each show.

The events will be held at Grandpa’s Barn in Brice Prairie, 7203 N. Shore Drive 4 miles north of I-90, Hwy. 35 to Co.
